Support Program

We walk alongside families, offering encouragement, resources, and steady support as they work toward their goals because strong families build strong communities.

Anderson, Oconee, Pickens, & Greenville Counties

Empowering Families is a Category IV DSS Family Preservation support program. We work with families to build on strengths, navigate challenges, and work toward safe, lasting family connections.

We accept referrals from the SC Department of Social Services and work alongside DSS staff to provide supportive, goal‑focused services tailored to each family’s unique needs.

  • Partnership with DSS through collaborative, family‑centered support
  • A dedicated FRCPS worker assigned to a family
  • Individualized services to meet families where they are
  • Support for families working toward reunification, including kinship care situations
  • Strength‑based guidance focused on stability, safety, and long‑term success

A mountain getaway to enjoy everything the upcountry wilderness has to offer. The Honey Hole Cabin, located on the Little Eastatoee Creek in the beautiful Eastatoee Valley in upstate South Carolina sits next to a creek and in front of the mountains! The Eastatoee Valley is a serene place, surrounded by 50,000+ acres of beautiful public land, including the Jocassee Gorges, forests, rivers, waterfalls, and more.  Perfect for a nature getaway!

6 tickets to City Scape Winery’s Winemaker’s Behind the Scenes tour including a 1.5 hour guided tour of the vineyards and production areas, a glass of wine, and souvenir wine glass to take home.

NASCAR Driver for a day!

Enjoy a package for two that provides classroom training AND the ability to drive real NASCAR Monster Energy Cup cars on a professional superspeedway track (Atlanta or Charlotte Motor Speedways).

There is no lead car to follow and no instructor riding with you. Personal racing instructors communicate with you using 2-way radio racing electronics, as well as be your spotter, coaching you during the racing sessions and helping you achieve fast speeds safely. Passing is allowed — pass the slower cars as you catch them, putting the pedal to the metal and seeing if you have what it takes to be a NASCAR driver!
